This weapon is one of the most valuable possessions which was bought as part of the Belitska-Scholtz collection 1962 by the Ferenc Nádasdy Museum.

Our guests can see the Nádasdy seal, the milestone of the rise of the family and the symbol of their new policy of expanding their land in the 18th century, since 2010. The Self-Government of Sárvár bought the seal from a collector in Budapest and deposited it in the Ferenc Nádasdy Museum.

The glass exhibition of the Ferenc Nádasdy Museum features nicely shaped bathing cups. The glass object exhibited here was made around 1870 in the Czech Republic, we can see the Czech town of Sankt Joachimstal depicted with enamel paint on opal glass with thin golden stripes on its rim.

We rarely mention the document collection of the Ferenc Nádasdy Museum. Our collection features manuscripts from the 16th to the 20th century, which are not only about Sárvár, but of the other parts of Hungary as well.

We preserve this old, slightly yellowish and damaged picture of the visit of Miklós Horty to Sárvár in the year 1922 in our local history collection. Between the two World Wars there were several soda water makers in Sárvár. József and László Kucsera sold this beverage in bottles with their own guild inscriptions, engraved in the spirit of Revisionism. They were the ones to fill, deliver and sell their soda, at that time no one knew or heard about soda cartridges.

One of the hidden treasures of our collection is the brick mold from the New Brick Factory of Sárvár. This important piece of local and industrial history was made of hardwood and has an iron inlay alongside its edges. On the bottom of the mold the initials S.U.T. can be read.
