Ethnography Collection

In the first two decades of the Museum the ethnography collection was created following an intensive gathering of objects. The data inventory which is yet to be explored is a worthy addition to the varied materials.
The core of the more than five and a half thousand pieces strong collection came to the Museum following a call from 1949, however also the next decades witnessed the increase of the number of objects. The origin of the objects is Sárvár and its imminent surroundings (the former district). Apart from memorabilia of the peasant life, we can see objects from the civic, urban guild and small trade life.
