Fields of research: the turning points of early Hungarian history and the history of the steppe empires from the 6th to the 13th century.
He graduated on the department for Turkology and History of the Loránd Eötvös University of Sciences 2000. He has been working at the Museum since 2002 and has been its director since 2006.
Recently he researches the historiographical analysis of summaries related to the Hungarian Land-taking and the founding of the state of Hungary.
